Anton Linner, Dipl.oec.,  Chief Executive Officer

As founder and chief executive of Avaton Renewables, Mr. Linner focuses largely on conceiving and implementing the strategy to impose the proven ABS specialty finance approach within the sustainable project space.  He is working with numerous financial institutions with which he has developed relationships over the years, to secure the credit and underwriting commitments necessary to successfully pursue this framework.  He simultaneously concentrates on putting all of the other necessary pieces together to successfully exploit this model within these emerging green asset classes.  Prior to founding Avaton Renewables, he spent 20 years organizing and arranging leveraged buyouts of small to mid-sized companies and was actively involved in managing the firms.  In 1989 Mr. Linner arranged one of the first leveraged buyouts in Germany.  In 1990 he startet out investing in Renewable Energies with the acquisition of a small hydroelectric power plant.  Mr. Linner received his Diploma from Augsburg University, and BA from LMU, Munich.  

Andrew Robertson, Esq,  Chief Legal Officer

Most recently having participated in a senior capacity in 35 structured finance transactions at Goldman Sachs, over nearly five years from 2005-2009, Mr. Robertson is an accomplished securities attorney, specializing in the securitization of esoteric asset classes.  While at Sidley Austin for six years, he completed 30 securitization transactions in residential and commercial mortgage backed securities, receivables backed securities, and other complex asset classes.  Prior to working at Sidley, Mr. Robertson practiced commercial litigation for 5 years.  At First Sustainable, he provides highly technical legal and business insight into complex securitization structuring issues and transactions. He also provides critical legal advice and the drafting of important legal documents, as they relate to the general affairs of Avaton Renewables.  Mr. Robertson received his MBA from Yale University, his J.D. from Wake Forest University, and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
