Origination
Avaton Renewables actively seeks to originate sustainable and energy/water efficiency project opportunities to exploit within the context of a traditional project finance approach as well as more sophisticated structured finance solutions.  Such projects include utility scale hydro, geothermal, wind, biomass, solar, combined heat and power, water, and biofuel projects, in addition to large scale government, commercial and institutional energy and water efficiency projects.  

Development
Avaton Renewables is actively seeking to develop and build utility scale, solar photovoltaic power projects in Western Europe.  While Avaton Renewables will generally seek to aggregate such projects for the purpose of exiting at the most efficient terms, we will opportunistically opt to exit on a one-off basis, to the extent that a favorable exit opportunity is available upon the connection of any given project. 

Project Finance
Avaton Renewables helps to provide construction, senior debt, equity and tax equity financing to sustainable projects.  By relying on our proprietary investor relationships and innovative structuring capability, we seek to bring any or all parts of the capital structure to numerous types of sustainable projects, including some of the most complex and demanding ones in the marketplace.
 

Advisory
Avaton Renewables seeks to provide securitization advisory services to third party originators and developers of various green asset classes, including large, globally recognized commercial institutions focused on the development of large sustainable project opportunities.  We also seek to advise smaller project developers who endeavor to acquire the insight necessary to successfully obtain project financing.
